I thought I'd share some recent photos I took and also some links with ideas for celebrating autumn. (Doesn't seem that long since I shared spring pictures, but it's 6 months ago now and 3 since I posted some summer photos!).

It's really feeling like autumn now, with the changing and falling leaves, cooler weather and mellow, golden light. I've really noticed the shift in recent weeks with the days getting shorter. The sun is now setting around 6.10pm. We've had Madron/the Autumn Equinox and in a couple of weeks it will be Samhain/Hallowe'en (my favourite apart from Lammas!). Here's some inspiration for autumn. :)*

Good post from witch and author Rachel Patterson (I have her book Kitchen Witchcraft) about autumn being the season of the witch: http://www.patheos.com/blogs/beneaththemoon/2018/09/tis-the-season-of-the-witch/

Inspiration for nature journalling. I haven't done this but it sounds good: http://www.lavender-moon.com/2018/09/autumn-nature-journaling.html
And finally a fun guide to Samhain from Michaela of Penniless Pagan: http://www.pennilesspagan.com/2018/10/the-witchs-guide-to-samhain.html
Hope you liked the photos and found some inspiration! I'm planning to post a new Samhain/Hallowee'en celebration ideas post soon. You can read the previous ones here:

Aw such lovely things, reading this has made me feel all autumnal :D the autumn months seem to pass so fast, I wish they would last a little longer (and maybe winter would be shorter haha xD) xx

Thanks for reading and commenting, Elizabeth! :) Yes, I know what you mean;I don't like winter very much, so it would be good to have a longer autumn and shorter winter, lol.
