I normally post on Sundays or Mondays but I was behind with another post on my entertainment blog Star Sparkle Blog, so I'm posting on a Tuesday instead. :)
Autumn is starting (or has already begun, depending on whether you go by the astronomical or meteorological start). Back in March, I wrote a post called Easing into Spring, so I thought I would do the same for autumn. :)
I've previously written a few posts about getting ready for autumn, which you can read at the links below:

This time I'm sharing a few links with inspiration for autumn and also for the autumn festival Madron/Mabon aka the Autumn Equinox. Madron is on 22nd September this year (Sunday).
As with the spring post, I've called this one Easing into Autumn because the start of a season is a transitional time. Sometimes you might feel ready to go straight into the next season, while other times you might want to go slower. And of course the weather often varies, especially in the UK!
I've mentioned before that I prefer the transition from winter to spring rather than summer to autumn, because summer is my favourite season and I don't like cold weather. This year it hasn't felt like much of a summer, in some ways. It took a while to warm up, only really getting hot at the end of July. In August it was hotter and sunnier sometimes, then other times colder and rainy. It's apparently been the coldest summer since 2015.
Lately it's been really feeling like autumn. It's gone colder and was down to 6C (42F) at night recently. I think it's been about 17 to 19C (61/66F) during the day and sometimes warmer. This week it might get up to 24C (74F).
The days are getting noticeably shorter, which I don't like. The clocks will go back on 27th October and then it will be darker even earlier. But that's a while away yet.
The leaves are starting to turn and I'm looking forward to the autumn colours. I also like the golden light at this time of year. :)
