I normally post on Sundays or Mondays, but had a bit of a difficult weekend due to personal issues, so I'm posting on a Tuesday instead. :)

I had a couple of events this month, a get together with my belly dance group at Alcampo Lounge in Brighton and a Meetup event (brunch) at West Beach Bar and Kitchen, also in Brighton. It was really windy that weekend, especially on the seafront! Here are a couple of pics from Brighton:

After a short heatwave in late July, the weather went cooler, windy and rainy, and it was feeling more like autumn! So it's been a summer of heat and also lots of rain, lol. But now it's gone hotter again, up to 31 degrees C (about 87F) the other day and 28C (82F) in my area today, which is cooler than other places. Yesterday was said to be the hottest Bank Holiday Monday ever. I'm pleased to see the nicer weather, although not used to the heat, lol.
However it's now getting darker earlier and I can really feel the shift as we move towards September. Sunset is just before 8pm now, compared to nearly 10 to 9 at the beginning of the month. Feel like I'm not ready to let go of summer! lol. I haven't been to a couple of places I wanted to this summer due to family car issues (some places aren't as easy to get to on the bus), but maybe I can do them in September.
If you want to make the most of the end of summer, here's a good post I found with some ideas: https://creativehomekeeper.com/things-to-do-before-the-end-of-summer/
